So here I am at 3am in the morning, wondering around the streets with my camera, trying to shoot the area with it's wonderful virgin snow and stupid people in their cars are giving me dirty looks as they huddle in their warmth...

So here I am at 3am in the morning, wondering around the streets with my camera, trying to shoot the area with it's wonderful virgin snow and stupid people in their cars are giving me dirty looks as they huddle in their warmth...
God only know what they're thinking when they see me standing in the soft snow in a short sleeve T-Shirt, knee length shorts and sneakers. Actually, it wasn't that cold.. with the snow constantly falling it felt quiet warm.. though admittedly I wouldn't want to stay outside for extensive periods.
Now I don't mean a little.. I mean, there's enough snow to make a decent snowman and with the current weather conditions it'll probably be a long while till he'll melt
Apparently we've got so much snow hundreds of businesses up and down the length of Britain will be closed cause all the cotton-wool kids are too afraid of getting damp 
I heard on the news recently that many of the schools will be closed and this morning too!! Though this time, their excuse isn't because the staff can't get there due to the 20cm snow. But kiddie playgrounds would be too dangerous for the kids to play on..

What ever happened to the good ole days? You know?
When I was a child, the snow used to come to our knees and classes commenced as normal; during our breaks we'd still venture outside chase the girls and have snow ball fights, build the odd snowmen, while others make slides in the snow for skidding - it's kinda like skiing!!! Oh, it's soo much fun! A slight bump never hurt anyone, nevermind the colourful bruises.. besides, they'll make your kid stronger!! What's wrong with the Brits of today? They've gone super soft!
